Racial Equity Book Club (Zoom)

he Lyme Public Library's Racial Equity Book Club will be focusing each month on a book about race relations in the United States. The book group will be meeting via Zoom where we will meet to discuss the book and participate in a fair and open discussion of the subject of race relations. Meet author David Handler

Yoga and Meditation with Joan Fisler of Red Barn Yoga

Joan Fisler of Red Barn Yoga of Lyme will be conducting yoga and meditation classes at the library twice a month. $10.00 per class paid to the instructor at the door. Participants should bring yoga mats if they have them  but a limited number of mats will be made available. Experience with yoga and meditation is not necessary in order to participate. This will be a relaxing and invigorating way to start the weekend off right.   Cost: $10.00

Lyme Public Library Cookbook Club

Every month the Lyme Public Library will be hosting a cookbook club where the participants will be using recipes from a particular cookbook (chosen by the participants at the previous month’s meeting) and making items to share with the group. Friends of the Lyme Public Library Special Book Sale Fundraiser

The Friends of the Lyme Public Library are holding a special book sale fundraiser featuring their excellent selection of art and architecture books. A recent donation of superb, only slightly used books, covering a wide range topics in art, architecture, Native American art and culture and photography will be available to purchase on Friday, October 14th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and Saturday, October,  15th from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
