Pick Up and Go Books for Pre-school Children Ages 2-5
Have you checked out our pre-bundled pick-up and-go books for preschoolers? In lieu of traditional story hour, the Library has an assortment of themed picture and board books selected and packaged for pickup during regular library hours. Stop in and pick up some collections for quality storytimes at home.
Read, Learn, Explore Summer Learning Art Programs – Tails and Tales – July 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 4:30-5:30 P.M for Children entering grades K-5.
The theme of this year’s collaborative summer learning program is Tails and Tales. Programs will be led by Kristen Thornton and will be held outdoors at the library. Masks will be required, and the programs will be limited to 10 children.
Summer Open Studio – students entering Grades 6-12 – July 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 6-7 P.M.
Students will recreate Still Life exhibits from their choice of media and materials, i.e. painting (watercolors/oils) or drawing (charcoals/pastels.) Your child can’t draw a straight line? No matter! Kristen Thornton will guide them through their projects no matter their skill level, and they can work at their own pace and build confidence. Materials will be supplied for all programs, but students may bring their own supplies if they choose. Limited to 10 participants. Please call or signup to register. Please note: These sessions will be held in the Library Community Room. Participants will be socially distanced and will be required to wear masks.
After School Art and Science Programs – September 2021 – Date & Time TBD
