“Twice Told Tales” is back!! Join us for a wonderful evening of entertainment, and community connection when local Academy Award winning screenwriter, Janet Roach, walks us through some of her favorite films. In “Twice Told Tales” we will be featuring two different movies over the course of two sessions that feature similar plots but have been created by two different directors and are based on two different screenplays. At the end of the second week’s film we will be having a potluck dinner where we can talk about movies or whatever else is on your mind and share with old friends and new ones through the magic of filmmaking. 

This week’s film is “Philadelphia Story” (directed by George Cukor) starring Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn and James Stewart. A romantic comedy in which a rich divorcee (Hepburn), her ex-husband (Grant)  and a tabloid-type reporter (Stewart)  all clash together sparking emotional fireworks on the eve of her remarriage.
