Hours of Operation

The library is closed on all major holidays. Other holidays will be announced in the What's Happening section.

If the Regional District 18 Lyme/Old Lyme School system is closed due to bad weather, the Lyme Public Library will be closed also. Snow closings are announced on television stations WTNH channel 8 and WFSB channel 3 and on the Connecticut Weather Center's web site www.ctweather.com.

Directions to the Library

From the North - Take I-91 south to Route 9 south. From Route 9, take I-95 North and follow the shoreline directions for I-95 north below

or

Take Route 2 east to Route 11 south.  When Route 11 ends in Salem, take a right onto Route 82.  From Route 82, turn left onto Route 156.  The library is aproximately 1 1/2 miles on the right.

From the shoreline -   From I-95 north take exit 70.  At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Route 156.  Follow it for aproximately 7 miles.  The Library is on the left immediately after the Lyme Town Hall.

From I-95 south take exit 70.  At the end of the exit ramp go straight onto Halls Road.  At the end of Halls Road, take a right onto route 156.   Follow it for aproximately 7 miles.  The Library is on the left immediately after the Lyme Town Hall.
